Figuring out your permit area

Buying your Wisconsin Deer license

The easiest way to purchase a Wisconsin Hunting Licenses is to use their online portal at Go Wild. Here you can purchase Licenses and do all your registrations. You can also visit the in person License Stations here.

Archery Equipment Regulations

A bow with a minimum draw eight of 30 pounds or crossbow with a minimum draw weight of 100 Pounds. An arrow or bolt with a sharpened mechanical or fixed broad-head blade. Lighted nocks are acceptable for use.

Wisconsin License Requirements

A gun deer license, to harvest a deer with a firearm; or archery license, to harvest deer with bow and arrow; or crossbow license, to harvest deer with a crossbow and bolt; a valid, unfilled harvest authorization.

After you harvest your deer

Registration of your deer harvest is required in Wisconsin and must be completed by 5 p.m. the day after the deer carcass is recovered.  For the fastest, easiest method you can register online at Go Wild
