Yes and no. This all depends on the crossbow you use. Most targets will stop a crossbow, but crossbow targets such as the Ironman Blocks will make it painless to retrieve your arrows.

Lifespan of a crossbow? What kind of service do I need to be prepared for?

The actual crossbow will last along time if you take care of it. How you take care of it depends on the make and model. Crossbows where the string rides on the rail will need to replacement strings more often. How often you leave the crossbow cocked will also dictate how often you will need a string. Most manufacturers will recommend a string replacement every year. As far as everything else, crossbows have a ton of energy running through them and because of this problems can arise. The important thing to remember is if you buy the crossbow new it will come with a manufacturer’s warranty that pretty much covers everything but the string.  Our crossbow service center can take care of all warranties and repairs.

Best crossbow broadhead?

A hot topic for sure. As much as we love fixed blade broadheads we do agree with most manufacturers and their recommendation of the best crossbow broadhead being a mechanical broadhead. The problem with fixed blade is that crossbows got too fast (Watch our speed comparison video for reference) . Our favorite crossbow broadhead? The G5 Megameat

Are they easy to use?

Certainly! Crossbows come in various designs for cocking and even decocking, but once you get acquainted, they become incredibly user-friendly and remarkably precise.

Best Crossbow Scope?

When it comes to finding the best crossbow scope, the options can be overwhelming. Higher-end crossbows often come equipped with fixed reticle sights that light up, while others offer upgraded rangefinding sights like the Garmin Xero X1i and the Burris Oracle.
